KATE LLC was established in 2004. Prerequisites for company establishment were following reasons:

• No Russian AT developers and manufacturers.

• Science school of planetary and multithreaded gears synthesis theory of Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman. Overwhelming majority of company engineers are graduated students of the University.

• Marketing researches have showed high market need in Russian cars with automatic transmissions.

Based on these factors, KATE LLC sets the target.

• Occupy Russian segment in AT production market and put out to World market.

Currently, KATE LLC is developing automatic transmission family FT702/703 designed for B, C class automobiles exploitation with transverse power plant disposition and maximum engine torque up to 175 Nm. Family transmissions RL608/RLX608 designed for rear and four wheel drive with longitudinal power plant disposition and maximum engine torque up to 300Nm.

For developed transmissions and their elements KATE LLC Patent department got more then 30 Russian and International Patents.
